Black Forest Performance Inc. was established to offer a variety of performance and luxury upgrades for Porsche 911 sports cars, with a special emphasis on performance enhancements for the 997.1 Turbo along with interior upgrades in seating, luxury upholstery, carbon fiber and Artmetal accents, roll cage, and suspension improvements. We also are offering a unique version of the Restomod concept for the Porsche 964, an idea that is currently popular in the US and Europe, but with our own special ideas and done at Midwest pricing. We can offer both performance and interior accent improvements for any model of Porsche from 1989 to current models, to allow the owner to express their own style and performance level as desired.
OUR HISTORY…OUR NETWORK
Our background is in custom automobile building, our CEO, Dave Hartje, owned and operated Duesenberg Motors Inc. (see video), and built exacting reproductions of the most expensive and powerful automobile in the world in the classic era of the 1930’s. These unique automobiles were built to order, with the customer selecting colors, type of interior upholstery, and features to express their own style. Ownership of the famous Duesenberg Trademarks for over 15 years gives us a special appreciation for the history and traditions of the most famous modern sports car, the Porsche 911.
This process is the basis for the Black Forest Performance Method of creating a Porsche for each customer that allows them to express their own style and provides the driving performance they want, from street to track, with everything done to the highest quality standards and using only the best materials.
Through our experience in building the custom Duesenberg II cars, we have developed a Service Network of experts to facilitate the creation of unique automobiles, who are expert craftsmen specializing in different aspects of automotive building.
